We Are Church - Church Together, January 31, 2016

SUMMARY

Although we think some passages in Scripture are hard to understand, Francis believes that most passages are not, explaining that the passages are easy to understand, but hard to accept, especially when the passages in Scripture are concerning God's wrath and judgment. We believe these passages are hard to accept not because they illustrate God's wrath, but because our thoughts are so much lower than God's thoughts, and thus, the correct response to passages such as these is humility and accepting God's character in full.
